Client Onboarding Legal Manager

For our office in Luxembourg we are currently recruiting for an Client Onboarding Legal Manager. As Client Onboarding Legal Manager, you will use the experience you have acquired in the past as well as excellent organisational skills, sound judgement, the ability to prioritise tasks and strong personal character to help meet client requirements. Your team will benefit from your flexible approach, attention to detail and ability to take the lead to work in a fast-paced regulated environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Adapt and negotiate standard client service agreements under the supervision of Alter Domus’ internal legal department
- Prepare documents relevant for onboarding of clients and the legal life cycle of multi-jurisdictional client companies and funds
- Pro-actively drive the drafting process for the various client related legal agreements and documents
- Support operational teams and advise on the legal implications of client documentation and deliverables
- Lead the client onboarding process from a legal perspective
- Advise operational teams and directors on issues of contract law, commercial law and corporate law in relation to client deliverables
- Provide support in relation to client services and documentation review such as client addendums, notifications letter
- Liaise directly with clients, their legal advisors or their third-party service providers where required
- Ensure high level of accuracy, attention to detail and compliance with deadlines
- Monitor client transactions and review various different documents for client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with internal processes relating to legal and corporate tasks
- Monitor or advise on legislative and regulatory changes or innovations affecting the Alter Domus’ service offering in multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor and supervise legal client documentation
- Protect Alter Domus’ interests in the process of negotiating agreements with clients
- Participate in mitigating legal risk to which Alter Domus is exposed
YOUR PROFILE:
- Relevant work experience of at least 4 years in the Luxembourg or international fund administration
- University degree in law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal efficiently with different internal and external counterparts
- People-oriented and keen to collaborate and support team members
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdiction(s) is mandatory
- Fluent in English. French or any other European language is an asset
- You are rigorous and work well with responsibilities
- Experience with fund documents review
- Knowledge of Luxembourg company law understanding of the European financial services industry
- You are organized, flexible, able to manage workload efficiently
- You are a high-energy, results-oriented person exhibiting a natural drive
- You have good knowledge of MS Office
- You possess the highest personal and professional integrity and have an eye for the detail not losing the essential
