JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Act as liaison between borrowers and lenders, collaborate with other parties within the industry, including legal counsel, trustees and other third party service providers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant portfolios and deal related documentation.
- Reference, understand and extract Credit Agreement and governing document information to ensure compliance and update the Agency system accordingly.
- Use judgment, interpretation and problem-solving to understand loan related information.
- Calculate, invoice and disburse all deal related fees; collect and disburse interest, principal, fee payments and new borrowing funds.
- Coordinate funds movement for initial funding and closing.
- Provide training to Associate level staff on policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper system set-up including maintenance of changing deal attributes.
- Understand services offered and risks as it relates to Agency and alert Manager of out of scope requirements, risk issues, etc.
- Maintain facility commitments and process loan and facility-related activity including rollovers, rate settings, conversions, prepayments, assignments, amendments, etc.
- Perform heavy data entry in agency systems and Microsoft Excel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or related field
0+ years of experience, new graduates encouraged to apply
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated analytical capabilities and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
Dynamic and flexible workstyle (i.e. successful candidates can work both independently and as a part of a team with professionals from all levels)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
