YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will work in the Corporate Development & Strategy team with the aim of driving both organic and inorganic growth through strategic internal investments and M&A integrations, respectively.
  • You will support key strategic initiatives and support Alter Domus in defining and delivering strategic value creation projects that form part of our overall Value Creation Plan (VCP).
  • As part of this, you will support initiative sponsors and their teams in defining business cases for the highest-impact strategic initiatives, structuring projects, and monitoring delivery with a special emphasis on delivery of financial and non-financial objectives.
  • You may also perform market, competitor, and industry analyses, screening investment opportunities, supporting the completion of due diligence processes, performing financial modelling, and overseeing post-merger integrations of acquired businesses.
  • You will help evaluate new strategic initiatives, including initiatives to improve execution/operations, reduce cost, or launch new products.
  • You will prepare presentations and memos with respect to the VCP and underlying initiatives, new opportunities, new markets and products. The audience for your presentations and memos range from project teams to the Group Executive and Supervisory Boards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience structuring, managing, and delivering projects at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (MBB or Big4) or equivalent, or experience delivering value creation plans for PE-owned businesses.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders (e.g., C-suite, Directors, Senior Managers) on high-impact, strategic projects.
  • Experience in positions that require performing analysis for, and reporting to, executive and non-executive stakeholders.
  • BA/BS or MS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Maths, or MBA, or similar degrees with an analytical predisposition.
  • Ability to work with competing priorities & providing level-headed guidance during unexpected events
  • You will have:
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to executive stakeholders and peers.
    • Deep analytical and financial modelling skills
    • Effective multi-tasking skills and the ability to create structure for others.
    • Excellent team working and organizational skills, combined with sound judgement, to ensure you are able to identify, anticipate and prioritize competing demands.
    • The ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • A high attention to details
  • Formal project or programme management experience or qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Beneficial previous experience in Corporate Development, Strategy or FP&A in Professional Services organizations; Corporate Finance; Private Equity; Investment Banking; programme, project, and change management
  • You are open to occasional travelling to our international offices.
