JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Product Manager – Data & Analytics to drive the development and success of data-focused products within our organization. This role is integral to bridging our Data Engineering team with key stakeholders and ensuring the data products align with both technical and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain a clear product roadmap for data products, balancing long-term vision with short-term execution.
- Prioritize features based on business impact, user feedback, and engineering considerations.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with investment, asset management, and other business teams to capture requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
- Communicate progress, gather feedback, and manage expectations effectively.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure feasibility and optimal design of data solutions.
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and other internal stakeholders to refine product requirements and deliver valuable insights.
4. Technical & Domain Expertise
- Leverage strong SQL skills to query and analyze data sets, validate product functionality, and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Understand relevant data infrastructures and analytics tools to guide technical decisions, especially in AWS environments (e.g., Amazon S3, Redshift, Glue, Data Lakehouse).
5. Product Execution & Delivery
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring the development process stays on track.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance, focusing on data reliability, usability, and business impact.
6. Quality Assurance & Governance
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with QA and business stakeholders to ensure product quality and adherence to requirements.
- Work with the Data Engineering team to uphold data governance, privacy, and compliance policies, especially critical in financial contexts.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with industry trends, data technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, improved data quality, and enhanced user experience.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance).
- Overall, 10 + years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in Product Management or a related role within data-driven organizations
Technical Skills
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with AWS for building and maintaining data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and tools such as JIRA for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Comfortable interpreting data models and collaborating with technical teams on architectural choices.
Desirable Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of private equity, private credit, and real estate data—including metrics, KPIs, and market trends.
- Background in data modeling and data management best practices (e.g., dimensional modeling, data governance, metadata management).
- Ability to provide insights on complex financial data sets and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is 5,000 to 8,000 EUR gross per month. The final salary offered for this role will depend on a candidates overall skill and experience.
