JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide value-added analytical support to the group’s Head of BI with respect to BI reporting, performance management and decision support
Core Responsibilities:
- Building, developing and maintaining data models, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions or strategies
- Promoting the use of SAC BI solutions throughout the business and helping to ensure they are a key part of decision making
- Supporting the effort to standardize group reporting and supporting our push towards more self-service access to data
- Gathering, analysing and documenting BI requirements, design and/or technical solutions and seeing them through to delivery
Other Responsibilities
- Supporting special projects, cross functional initiatives and business analysis as requested
- Collaborating with peers on any issues, solutions or winning practices that can be leveraged across Finance and the wider business
Success Criteria for this role:
- Critical and creative thinking to anticipate and address business needs
- The ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- A cross-collaborative mindset and desire to build strong relationships with teammates and peers
- Commitment to good data governance and process discipline
- The ability to understand and take full ownership for the end-to-end reporting cycle (i.e. design, build, test, train, iterate)
- Professional experience with data analysis and reporting, ideally with a financial background
Profile:
- You have 3-5 years of professional experience with data analysis and reporting, ideally with a financial background
- You hold a university degree in Business management, economics (or related discipline)
- You are comfortable using tools such as SAP S/4 Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BI and Datawarehouse Cloud,
- High proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- You have good organisational, communication and time management skills (particularly working to tight deadlines)
- You have a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities
- You are fluent in English and able to engage, and effectively communicate with senior audiences in business English
