JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Senior Officer – Events & Memberships will support the planning and delivery of the firm’s events and conferences programme across Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region, while taking day-to-day ownership of the firm’s portfolio of industry association memberships.
- A key focus of the role will be ensuring that the firm maximises the value of its investment in memberships. The Senior Officer will maintain a clear view of the benefits available through each association, proactively identify opportunities for the business to use those benefits, and connect colleagues with relevant events, committees, networks, content, speaking opportunities and other platforms.
- The role will work closely with The Head of Commercial, APAC and with wider team across the region to ensure both events and memberships support the firm’s brand, client engagement and commercial objectives.
Your Role:
Event Planning & Delivery
Manage the end-to-end delivery of proprietary events, client dinners, roundtables, conferences, sponsorships and other client engagement activities.
Develop event plans, timelines, budgets and project trackers and ensure milestones are delivered on time.
Coordinate venues, catering, production, AV, branding, speakers, entertainment and other suppliers.
Manage on-site delivery, including registration, guest experience, speaker management and supplier coordination.
Ensure events consistently reflect the firm’s brand and deliver a high-quality client experience.
Conferences & Industry Engagement
Support the regional programme of third-party conferences and industry sponsorships.
Coordinate sponsorship deliverables including branding, speaking opportunities, delegate passes, meeting programmes and hospitality.
Coordinate pre-event preparation and structured post-event follow-up.
Budget & Administration
Manage event and membership budgets, purchase orders, invoices and supplier payments.
Maintain an accurate calendar of membership renewals and associated financial commitments.
Track expenditure against agreed budgets.
Support annual planning for events, conferences and memberships.
Maintain accurate records within relevant marketing and CRM systems.
Membership & Association Management
Manage a portfolio of industry association memberships, acting as the central point of coordination between the firm and its association partners.
Maintain a comprehensive membership inventory, including membership level, cost, renewal dates, key contacts, markets covered and strategic purpose.
Develop and maintain a clear record of the benefits and entitlements available through each membership.
