JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a social media (specifically LinkedIn) content specialist to join our marketing function for an initial 12-month fixed term. This role will be dedicated to supporting our CEO’s LinkedIn profile which currently has “Top Voice” status.

We also anticipate that this role will in time evolve to cover our main Alter Domus LinkedIn profile and other senior executives’ personal profiles.
The marketing team is a small, multi-disciplinary team that at times requires members to take on additional responsibilities to support the delivery of the marketing program. These responsibilities could involve on-site attendance at events, pre-event planning as well as post event evaluation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the “voice” of our senior executives on LinkedIn.
  • Understand the interconnectivity between the master brand profile and executives’ personal profiles.
  • Ensure messaging, tone, and feel remain connected yet appropriate for each account.
  • Maintain a content calendar, develop campaigns and create content across multiple formats and using a range of software solutions.
  • Liaise with C-suite executives for content sign-offs and ideation.
  • Monitor key trends and metrics and optimize content accordingly.
  • Grow individual profiles’ followers and connections in a targeted manner.
  • Prioritize building the “right” audience of commercial decision-makers over mere growth.
  • Develop and “known” performance analytics and reporting.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Creativity: Creating compelling and visually appealing content is crucial for grabbing attention and engaging users
  • Sectoral knowledge: A good understanding of financial services and, in particular, private markets
  • Technical experience in Canva, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Planner an advantage
  • Communication & collaboration skills: Since the role requires frequent interaction with the audience and senior stakeholders, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Analytical abilities: Understanding and interpreting data helps Social Media Managers refine strategies and demonstrate the impact of their work
  • Platform knowledge: Staying ahead of trends and algorithm changes to maximize effectiveness of content and engagement efforts
  • Adaptability: Confidence writing long and short form content, as well as supporting wider team efforts
  • Time management: Balancing content creation, community engagement, and strategy planning requires strong organizational skills.
  • 3-5 years’ experience
