For our offices in Malta and Spain our Finance team is seeking a Senior Officer to join our growing Corporate Finance team. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • You will work in the Corporate Finance team with the aim of supporting the Group and the Finance team on long-term forecasting and key financial analyses for all key stakeholders, including Cinven, Alter Domus’ new strategic shareholder.
  • You will be mainly involved in the preparation of financial models, presentations, and memos with respect to:
    • Alter Domus’ 5-Year Long-Term Plan;
    • Financial and returns analysis of key investment opportunities, including Due Diligence for M&A, Migrations, and Lift-Outs;
    • Strategic projects and Value Creation Plans (VCPs);
    • Alongside the FP&A team, provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on financial performance, market trends, and peers.
  • The Corporate Finance team aims to support the CFO, GEB, and Supervisory Board in the decision-making process for key long-term initiatives.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or an MS in a similar discipline with strong analytical predisposition. Beneficial qualifications include progress towards (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in positions requiring financial results analysis, financial reporting, and ad-hoc data analysis. Beneficial prior experience includes Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, FP&A, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting.
  • Technical skills should include the ability to work with competing priorities and provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (e.g., index, conditional lists, arrays, pivots, lookups, etc.).
  • Preferred experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools to deliver ad-hoc analyses and actionable insights for senior management strategic decision-making.

  • You will have ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • You will possess strong technical skills and a high attention to detail
  • You will have strong communication and effective multi-tasking skills;
  • You will have the ability to work with multiple peers group and senior levels of management supporting them on analysis for strategic decision-making;
  • You are open to occasional travelling to our international offices.
