JOB DESCRIPTION:

Solvas is a globally recognized software brand in the financial services industry. Our Solvas Platform team builds and supports a modern framework for rapid development and deployment of microservices and micro-frontends. As a member of the platform team, your customers are other developers. A successful candidate will be passionate and opinionated about cloud native computing, developer experience, clean code, and enabling the productivity of product development teams.

Responsibilities:

• You will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of a cross-product developer framework
• Contribute to the implementation and testing of new features
• Advocate and evangelize for standard methodologies and high-quality work  
• Facilitate engineering discussions and decision making considering various stakeholders and constituents
• Serve as a mentor and example of best practices for junior engineers
• Be responsive and proactive while maintaining long-term strategic priorities for suite of software solutions that rely on the platform
• Manage various solution development teams’ expectations regarding deliverables and timing 

Qualifications:

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development using React and Typescript, with a strong understanding of native React features and a solid grasp of design patterns for frontend development in React.
• Proficient in developing unit tests using React Testing Library, along with a solid understanding of mocks and their implementation in testing scenarios.
• Strong understanding of Webpack, including its purpose, configuration, and how it is used to optimize and bundle applications.
• Familiarity with artifacts management and a strong understanding of npm packages, including their installation, versioning, and best practices for dependency management.
• Exposure to OOP, prototypal inheritance, and typical web-based client-server design patterns
• Familiarity with Material UI components and custom component development
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

Preferred:

• Experience with AG-Grid, Formik, and Figma
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with micro-frontend frameworks like Single SPA
• Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Salary range: The base salary for this role ranges from $67,500 to $115,000+
