JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Project Manager for the Fenergo Implementation, you will be responsible for overseeing the transition from a manual Excel-based process to a workflow managed regulatory technology platform, Fenergo, within the Investor Review & Onboarding Team. You will lead a team of four, ensuring that the implementation is executed efficiently, meets local and group Compliance requirements, and enhances the overall client and investor experience. Your role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including Compliance, other jurisdictions supporting the implementation and the Fenergo development and implementation teams, to ensure a successful rollout of the new system.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the transition from a manual Excel-based process to the Fenergo platform. Address potential resistance to change through effective communication and support initiatives.
- Project Leadership: Lead the existing Investor Review & Onboarding Team through the implementation of Fenergo, ensuring effective collaboration and performance throughout the transition process.
- Process Mapping and Design: Analyse existing onboarding and compliance processes, and design optimised workflows for the team to utilise the Fenergo platform and enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Compliance, and operations, to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment throughout the implementation period.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that the Fenergo implementation aligns with Jersey legal and regulatory requirements, including AML, KYC, and other Compliance mandates.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the implementation and provide regular updates to senior management on implementation progress.
- Post-Implementation Support: Oversee the transition to post-implementation support, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and that the team is equipped to manage the new system effectively.
YOUR PROFILE
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Compliance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certification) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the financial services sector, with a focus on compliance, client onboarding, or regulatory processes. Experience with Fenergo or similar client/Investor lifecycle management systems is highly desirable.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML, KYC, and other regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the financial services industry.
- Leadership Skills and People Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. You have a track record of building and leading strong teams; you have the requisite training and skill set to increase skills and productivity within the team. You exhibit a strong team spirit and are adept at building robust relationships within the business, while also taking the initiative when necessary.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, as well as familiarity with compliance and onboarding software solutions.
