Job Description:

Alter Domus India develops and licenses a growing family of proprietary software products and service solutions to assist financial institutions with a number of complex topics such as accounting for credit deteriorated assets and the administration of investments in leveraged loans.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute scripts which validate, to a high degree of confidence, test cases defined within the project’s test plan for Solvas
  • Performs integrations, stress, load, regression and performance testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance.
  • Coordinates and execute upon the creation of Test Cases, scripts and performance test execution
  • Perform automated load/performance testing across multiple messaging protocols (including HTTP), focusing on overall application performance - validating that application response and outputs accurately reflect business requirements
  • Tracks and communicates task progress, status, and key performance metrics.
  • Report defects found in testing diligently, promptly, and accurately, using standard defect tracking tools.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of performance testing/engineering experience. Experience on working with JMeter and knowledge on other load generation software like Load-Runner, Gatling etc.
  • Experience in testing applications developed in microservice architecture and through understanding of high-level system design / application architecture.
  • Significant hands-on experience of Scripting, Execution for JMeter, LoadRunner. Having knowledge of complex scripting scenarios and groovy scripting.
  • Experience to setup and configure LG’s and master/slave configurations on VMs.
  • Provide support and mentoring to distributed project teams on performance activities.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and summarize them into meaningful graphs and reports
  • Should be able to perform baselining, load, stress, scalability, endurance, spike, and other related performance test strategies and techniques.
  • Experience in utilizing performance, monitoring and tuning software for interpreting performance results and identifying bottlenecks (eg. Splunk, Dynatrace and AppDynamics, Grafana etc.)
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and ability to monitor database performance and query tracing.
  • Should know basic concepts of databases and its architectures and experience working with DB teams for troubleshooting slowness.
  • Should be aware of common SQL Server tools like SSMS, Profiler etc. 
  • Experience in plugging performance test as part of the CI/CD pipeline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively across all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred: 

  • Worked in volume testing
  • Knowledge on Microsoft AzureDevops.
  • Knowledge on GIT, Docker.
  • Any cloud/devOps certification like Azure/Aws/Kubernetes is a plus
  • ISTQB Certification is plus.
