We are seeking a skilled and qualified compliance professional to lead our Compliance Team in Jersey.  As the Head of Alter Domus Compliance, reporting to the Head of Compliance EMEA as well as the local Board of Directors your responsibilities will include: 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, and Money Laundering Compliance Officer for Alter Domus Jersey Entities.
• Serve as the MLRO/MLCO for entities to which Alter Domus (Jersey) Limited provides AMLSP services.
• You will be accountable for ensuring that all of the regulated Alter Domus Jersey companies are fully compliant with all relevant rules and regulations in Jersey. 
• You will conduct regular and comprehensive compliance-risk assessments and testing to identify and monitoring the remediation of any risks and will ensure that all internal policies, procedures and guidelines are fit for purpose, making recommendations and amendments as appropriate.
• You will ensure all Compliance Monitoring Programs are implemented and completed in a timely fashion and that the monitoring programme meets regulatory requirements.
• You will provide regular reports to the Jersey Board in respect of the outcome of the monitoring and the effectiveness of the compliance function.
• You will provide regular status reports to the Head of EMEA in respect of compliance monitoring and other compliance matters.
• You will be the key contact person for the JFSC.
• You are accountable for ensuring the appropriate filings with the regulator are completed accurately and on time.
• You will drive a culture of compliance and risk control across Alter Domus Jersey to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks.
• You will be involved with compliance related projects both for Alter Domus Jersey and Alter Domus Group.

2. You will actively role model a high-performance culture, with clear accountabilities, working closely with other heads of compliance and collaborating as appropriate.
3. You will understand the capability of your team and what is required to deliver on your objectives, actively managing performance and developing a pipeline of talent.
4. You will also be responsible for driving change when necessary, delivering communications and directions to the team and supporting the development and engagement of employees at all levels.

YOUR PROFILE:

•    You possess a strong working knowledge of Jersey's regulatory and AML framework for Jersey regulated businesses
•    You have minimum 10 years of Financial Services experience in a Compliance environment.
•    You have experience in the roles of CO, MLRO, or MLCO for a Regulated Business in Jersey.
•    You have demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong working relationship with the regulator.
•    You hold the International Diploma in Compliance or AML or an equivalent qualification.
•    You have experience in managing and developing a team of Compliance and AML professionals.
