Our Guernsey Story

Alter Domus Guernsey first opened its doors in 2009, in the heart of St Peter Port. Since then, we have grown to more than 60 team members invested in the alternative, moving to a new modern workplace in 2022. 

Working closely with colleagues in our UK and Jersey offices, our Guernsey team ensure we continue maximising opportunities for our clients. As part of an international network, our teams share knowledge, expertise and growth opportunities.

With a wealth of experience in alternative asset administration for private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and debt, our team currently administer more than 1,300 structures with assets in excess of $130bn.

Key programs

The EXPERT program is designed to strengthen the technical expertise of our employees through a comprehensive learning journey. It includes a variety of specialized training programs delivered both internally and in collaboration with an external expert firm. With tailored courses based on role-specific needs, this program ensures employees develop the expertise required to excel in their field.

The GROW program is designed for Officers and Senior Officers to develop key competencies that support their career progression. It covers essential skills such as time management, client communication fundamentals, and other core capabilities that help employees navigate their roles effectively and build a strong foundation for future growth.

The LEAD program is designed for people managers to strengthen their leadership capabilities. It focuses on values-based leadership, leading through change, and developing a coaching mindset to support and empower their teams. Through this program, managers gain the skills and insights needed to navigate challenges and drive team success.

The Management Fundamentals program is designed for newly promoted people managers to help them navigate their day-to-day responsibilities. It covers essential skills such as staying connected with their team, having effective conversations, conducting hiring manager interviews, and delivering difficult messages. This program equips managers with the tools they need to lead with confidence from day one.
