JOB DESCRIPTION:
Alter Domus (AD) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the implementation of our global KYC/AML solution. This role involves working with integrated third-party solutions, including Fenergo (AML KYC platform), Kompany (global business registry aggregator), World-Check One (sanctions and screening tool), and the Fenergo Investor Portal (digital portal for AML KYC outreach and verification). The Business Analyst will play a role in gathering, understanding, and translating business requirements, as well as implementing them into the Fenergo platform. They will ensure successful implementation and customization of the Fenergo platform, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness for our clients and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be part of a cross-functional Product Delivery team that delivers an end-to-end service to the business reporting into the Global Product Owner.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and development teams to gather, analyze, and define business requirements, ensuring they can be effectively translated into configurations and customizations on the Fenergo platform.
- Update, maintain, and help prioritize the development lifecycle (including Azure DevOps boards and backlogs). Updating and adding user stories when required.
- Act as a point of contact for Fenergo platform configuration related tasks, including but not limited to, rules configuration, user interface customization, workflow designs, and reference data management.
- Proactively identify system issues and conduct root cause analysis to implement appropriate fixes or adjustments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Fenergo platform configurations, changes, and customization for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to users of the Fenergo platform as necessary.
- Monitor and report on progress, roadblocks, and successes related to Fenergo platform configuration activities, ensuring clear and consistent communication with the Product Owner.
- Proactively identify, present, and plan areas for improvements, including monitoring Fenergo releases to identify opportunities.
- Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes.
PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE/ Business Analysis) are a plus.
- Prior experience in business analyst, KYC analyst, or similar roles within the KYC/AML or financial services industry, would be considered a plus.
- Basic understanding, or demonstrated interest/willingness to learn:
- KYC/AML within financial services
- Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or other project management methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories. Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage requirements effectively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary range: Salary for this role will depend on your skills and experience. Gross monthly salary of 1600 EUR to 2100 EUR per month.
