Senior Manager Client Onboarding

Alter Domus is currently seeking a new Senior Manager to join our North America Client onboarding team across all product segments: Real Estate, Private Debt, Private Equity. The Senior Manager will lead the client onboarding function across private equity, real estate, private debt, and fund administration services. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for clients, while maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and data integrity across complex deal structures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Demonstrate core competencies and proficiency in relationship management, client service, business operations and stakeholder management.
  • Implement group strategy and target operating model in daily operations; engage in active operational improvement plans and opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional onboarding teams across all of our product segments: Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and workflows.
  • Oversee onboarding workflows across AML/KYC, fund documentation, data set up, application configuration, and full client lifecycle activity setup.
  • Drive governance and delivery for complex onboarding events: fund launches, deal closes, M&A lift-outs, data migrations.
  • Monitor timelines, quality metrics, and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Serve as escalation point for onboarding issues and client concerns.
  • Partner with relationship managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with fund managers, legal, compliance, and technology teams to align onboarding with fund lifecycles and investor expectations.
  • Lead communications at senior levels with client personnel and investment professionals both internally and externally.
  • Participate and lead projects across the department, particularly those which look to mitigate risk, improve operating efficiency, and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Always represent the firm in a professional manner, displaying the ethical behavior we expect in all interactions, both internally and externally.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience in financial services, private equity, real estate, and private debt
  • Experience managing teams with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • Demonstrated successful client delivery
  • Experience driving operational efficiencies
  • Intellectual curiosity and global mind-set, allowing you to partner effectively across teams with agility and flexibility
  • Desire to exceed expectations
  • Familiarity with a Credit Fund accounting system

Salary range depending on experience: $110,000-$170,00
