JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Workforce Planning CoE Lead is responsible for defining and delivering the global workforce planning strategy, aligning it with wider business strategy and objectives. This role oversees the driver-based planning process, governs the global planning cycle, and delivers actionable insights to senior leadership. Leading a team of analysts, the CoE Lead ensures consistent use of planning tools, tracks key performance metrics, and supports upskilling across the business. Strong stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of people processes and technology (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, SuccessFactors) are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the Global Workforce Planning strategy ensuring it links to wider strategic objectives
- Understand skill trends and use this to provide Business Units insights when creating workforce plans
- Own the driver-based workforce planning model, process and technology solution, ensuring globally consistent application
- Run the global workforce planning cycle, engaging with Business Unit leaders to deliver successful workforce plans
- Own the workforce planning governance, coordinating stakeholders across the Business, People, and Finance
- Measure the success of the workforce planning process through KPI measurement, and use this information to optimise the process
- Report workforce insights to senior executives
- Lead in upskilling and creating guidance for stakeholders
- Run a team of workforce analysts that will run day-to-day data and analysis tasks
Key Skills
- Strong analytics skills and ability to track KPIs, including use of Excel
- Experience in workforce planning
- Understanding of People processes, such as Talent Acquisition, Learning, and Organisation Design
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, SuccessFactors, and S4/H
- Senior stakeholder management and communication
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of the alternative investments industry
- Experience in change management and communications
