JOB DESCRIPTION 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Core Operations is accountable for leading the Core Operations teams (Reconciliations, Client Onboarding, Payments, VAT Reporting, Regulatory Reporting) with accountability for the oversight, management and operational efficiency of the teams to deliver a high-quality service to clients. Specifically, you will;  

  • Enhance scale and service quality of Central Operations functions appropriately balancing capacity and expenses. 

  • Assess, leverage, and prioritize the company’s many geographies to optimize a global support service model. 

  • Identify business process efficiencies with a relentless focus on continuous improvement and promoting the Centres of Excellence to deliver scalable services. 

  • Be accountable for the reporting against KPIs, delivering insight and analysis to drive continuous improvement efforts 

  • Drive a culture of compliance and risk control to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks. 

  • Ensure that all operational processes fully comply with Alter Domus policies and procedures. 

  • Champion change for both the business and customers, increasing adoption and use of our platforms and measuring customer satisfaction. 

  • Champion change and improve client satisfaction, utilizing the voice of the client to drive a consistent experience, particularly for global clients with touchpoints in multiple geographies  

  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

  • Identify staffing needs and develop training programs to enhance team capabilities and support scaling efforts. 

  • Support the development and engagement of employees at all levels, actively promoting the Employer Value Proposition within all regional teams and role modelling the Alter Domus values to our people, clients and customers. 

  • As a senior leader, you will also be responsible for driving change when necessary, delivering communications and directions to the team in supporting the development and engagement of employees at all levels.   

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging employees to enhance their skills and knowledge. 

  • Promote ethical business practices, enhancing the company's reputation and social impact and ensurisng Alter Domus maintains the highest Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) standards.
