Job Description:
You will be involved in the following tasks:
• Manage High-Risk investor escalations by conducting compliance AML CTF risk assessments and support the approval process.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company’s compliance framework, ensuring timely updates to policies and procedures.
• Analyze compliance-related data and key risk indicator to identify trends and potential risks. Provide insights to support the Compliance Manager in preparing strategic reports for the Board of Managers and regulatory filings for the CSSF.
• Review AML related correspondence, to ensure compliance with Luxembourg AML laws and internal policies, identifying and addressing any deviations.
• Assist in the annual review of Compliance deliverables (including but not exclusively AML risk assessment, Terrorist Financing risk assessment, Proliferation Financing, AML CFT Risk appetite etc).
• Assist the coordination and execution of internal and external audits.
• Take the lead in drafting and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR).
• Assist the review of existing and new policies and processes and implementation of new ones.
• Support the execution of periodic compliance controls across key areas such as AML CFT, GDPR, HR & remuneration, fund services, oversight, and outsourcing, in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Contribute to the development of a Compliance and anti-financial crimes framework and culture across Alter Domus group.
• Design and deliver Compliance training programs for employees of Alter Domus.
• Assist in advising Operational Teams on compliance related matters, particularly in AML CFT, governance, ensuring regulatory alignment and best practices.
YOUR PROFILE:
• University Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, International Relations / Studies, Management or Business Administration. A Master degree is considered a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in Compliance and/or AML role within a Luxembourg based financial institution, specialized PSF, auditing firm, bank, or consultancy providing Compliance or AML support to financial service providers.
• Strong understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) principles and solid knowledge of EU compliance and AML related regulations
• Knowledge of financial crime topics and the Luxembourg regulatory framework relative to specialized PSF is a plus.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required, knowledge of an additional European language, such as French, is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and reporting skills.
• Detail oriented, quick learner, and result driven..
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple compliance responsibilities, and perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to deliver effective training sessions.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting and policy implementation.
• Proven experience in guiding and supporting junior colleagues, providing mentorship, and sharing compliance knowledge within a team, is considered a plus.
