JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Head of Enterprise Architecture will be responsible for leading the Enterprise Architecture strategy and business objectives across the organisation. This role ensures that technology decisions support long term business goals, regulatory compliance and innovation while managing risks and optimising costs. Specifically, you will:
- Lead architectural governance processes, standards and best practices across the organisation.
- Drive technology roadmap development for cloud migration, application modernisation, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business vision into technical architecture blueprints.
- Architect and oversee technology transformation initiatives, ensuring optimal cloud-native solutions and strategies.
- Drive legacy system modernisation efforts, including microservices adoption, API-first design, and containerisation strategies.
- Design enterprise AI architecture, governance frameworks, and integration patterns to enable data-driven financial products and services.
- Architect modern data platforms, including cloud-native database solutions, data lakes, and data analytics.
- Design architecture supporting DevOps, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies relevant to financial services.
- Establish innovation frameworks and proof-of-concept processes.
- Foster a culture of architectural innovation while maintaining risk management principles.
- Partner with product teams to architect next-generation financial technology solutions.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing enterprise technology team, providing guidance to ensure the team delivers impactful result.
- Fostering a culture of high performance, innovation and adaptability.
- As a senior leader, you will also be responsible for driving change when necessary, delivering communications and directions to the team in supporting the development and engagement of employees at all levels.
- Promote and build the Alter Domus brand and culture both internally and externally, acting as an ambassador and role model to our people, clients, and customers to embed the Alter Domus Values and to promote our Employer Value Proposition.
- As a director of Alter Domus, you will maintain a relentless focus on cost and budget discipline, driving a culture of accountability.
- Drive a culture of compliance and risk control to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks.
- Ensure the company maintains the highest Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) standards.
PROFILE
- You have 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- You possess a deep understanding in architecture frameworks, complex systems integration, cloud transformation, and regulatory compliance, alongside experience leading large- scale change.
- You will have the confidence to challenge the status quo to find innovative solutions.
- You will embody a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team.

Salary Range: The salary for this position will be determined by the skills and experience you bring. Our budgeted range is $275k +
