JOB DESCRIPTION:

Alter Domus are looking for a Business Analyst - Client Support  to join our growing Solvas Asset Management Team.

Role Duties:

  • Work with a team of business analysts and client support personnel related to CLO and Solvas Asset Management (Alter Domus’ CLO and syndicated loan software).
  • Work as a subject matter expert and resource for clients
  • Model CLO deals for clients on Solvas Compliance and PoP
  • Gather information from various stakeholders such as clients and team members to document functional, system, and/or data requirements and to acquire consensus
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish defects from enhancement requests
  • Analyze, synthesize, and prioritize requirements for enhancements to systems and / or business processes throughout the product development life cycle
  • Manage client support queries, issues, and/or enhancement requests ensuring adherence to SLAs
  • Collaborate with team members to create detailed functional and/or technical specifications for complex development of new, or modifications to existing, applications
  • Coordinate and assist with testing activities to help identify, mitigate, and resolve issues
  • Provide guidance to quality assurance and the development teams to create unit and integrated test cases
  • Function as an ambassador for the product internally and externally as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
  • Works with the appropriate product team to finalize user requirements. Able to understand the business requirements and technical environments to creatively assist the users in defining these requirements.
  • Performs work independently with little or no direct supervision.
  • Work with team on developing user requirements, estimations, specifications, and presentations; Conduct regular development reviews and communicate the status of projects in both formal and informal settings.
  • Encourages collaborative efforts and camaraderie with cross geographical team members.
  • Demonstrates a working understanding of both quality assurance and software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share knowledge with peers, development and QA groups
  • Proactively manage any risks and issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in the CLO domain
  • Ability to understand legal documents such as offering memoranda, offering circulars, indentures and private placement memoranda, including related compliance test calculations or concentration test limitations
  • A successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering quality clients service and staying up to date with best operational practices and related technology in the loan market
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment to meet client deadlines
  • Strong organizational, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Highly developed written and strong oral communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Team player with organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at once.
  • Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity or experience with the software development, support, or operations teams is helpful but not required.
  • Exposure to computer programming languages such as SQL is helpful but not required.

Salary range:

The salary for this role ranges from $67,500 to 125,000 per year depending on skills and experience.
