JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a technology-driven Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, analytical capabilities, and implementation experience to help enhance our reconciliation platform and other business systems. This role focuses on translating business requirements into technical solutions, driving system improvements, and implementing new features.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Integration

  • Lead technical implementation and integration of new systems and features onto our platforms
  • Design and document technical specifications for system enhancements and new applications
  • Work closely with IT development teams to ensure proper translation of business requirements
  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new systems and features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality and application functionality

Systems Analysis & Design

  • Analyze current systems and processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and impact analyses for proposed solutions
  • Design data models and workflows for new implementations
  • Document technical architecture and integration points between systems
  • Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies

Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Manage technical aspects of implementation projects, including planning and execution
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for technical implementations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Provide technical training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

Education & Technical Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or similar technical roles

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, data flows, and integration methodologies
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and technical specification creation
  • Knowledge of database structures and SQL
  • Familiarity with API integrations and data transformation techniques
  • Experience with business process modeling and workflow design
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies

Technical Tools & Platforms

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Experience with project management and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with visualization and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong technical communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in team environments

Preferred Qualifications

Domain Knowledge (Good to Have)

  • Experience with financial systems, particularly reconciliation platforms
  • Understanding of reconciliation processes (e.g., cash, accounting, fees, invoices)
  • Familiarity with financial services technology and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with reconciliation management tools

Advanced Technical Skills

  • Experience in data modeling and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Understanding of automated testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
  • Experience with system migration projects

Certifications

  • Business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)
  • Technical certifications in relevant systems or methodologies
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile)

Salary range: We offer a gross monthly salary of 2100 to 3333 EUR for this position. Final salary will be determined by skills and experience. We encourage all candidates to apply and discuss during the recruitment process.
