YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as part of VAT team in Vilnius, you will be responsible for providing support on all indirect tax impacts to our clients in Luxembourg, France, the UK across a range of different client segments, including private equity, real estate, commercial companies and investment funds.
As an VAT Manager, you will:
- Oversee indirect tax support to different teams in Luxembourg, France, and the UK on all indirect tax impacts for their clients' business, from various industries, including private equity, real estate and commercial companies.
- Be in charge of the review of the VAT returns and the review of tax assessments issued by the tax authorities.
- Manage the workload, distribute the work and ensure high quality delivery of the team in Vilnius
- Conduct specific research in line with clients’ needs when necessary.
- Prepare / supervise internal and externals newsletters, articles and brochures on new VAT issues.
- Provide practical answers regarding VAT and indirect taxation matters to internal teams.
- Deliver/ assist in the technical VAT training sessions held on a regularly basis to internal company staff.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Support, develop a team of junior and senior talents, in close collaboration with the Head of Indirect Tax team.
- Regularly review and evaluate the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback and initiating appropriate training or corrective actions as needed.
- Manage and lead a dynamic team, providing direction, motivation, and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards, and implement best practices in all aspects of the company's operations.
- Identify areas for improvement within the organization and work proactively to implement solutions and optimize workflows.
YOUR PROFILE
What we’ll look for on your CV:
- You hold a university degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance or Economics.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in indirect tax field.
- You are familiar with the tax challenges within an international organization.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leading by example is something that you apply in day-to-day to legitimate a manager position.
- You are proactive, with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- You possess team spirit, risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information.
- You are fluent in English, knowledge of French considered as an asset.

Monthly base salary for this position is from 4,000 EUR to 5,750 EUR gross. Final offer will be determined based on your competences, qualifications and professional experiences
