RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for our entities under IFRS and local GAAP within required deadlines.
- Preparation of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
- Preparation of any compliance, tax and regulatory reporting.
- Involvement in the annual audit process and preparation of the annual financial statements.
- Working with various cross-functional stakeholders to maintain efficient and compliant accounting and reporting processes, and effective controls.
- Actively contributing to improvement initiatives, standardization, re-engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices.
- Assist the business to achieve commercial objectives, including the ability to act as an adviser on matters.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or economics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Some experience or exposure to IFRS or US GAAP in the preparation of financial statements.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Detail-oriented yet able to reflect on and understand the big picture.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and delivering results with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and self-driven mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- SAP S4 Hana knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Eagerness to learn and grow, with the ability to identify issues and opportunities within data and processes.
