JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform end-to-end Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation for private credit funds on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual NAV pack.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for investment portfolios, including loan investments, interest accruals, fee calculations, realized and unrealized gains/losses, and other fund transactions.
- Process and monitor capital calls, investor contributions, distributions, redemptions, and related investor allocations.
- Validate waterfall calculations, management fees, carried interest allocations, and investor allocation methodologies.
- Handle daily cash activities and notices on assigned funds.
- Prepare cash, Position and accrued interest reconciliation, Investigate and resolve breaks.
- Participate in annual audits, including preparation of financial reports and responses to auditor queries.
- Review annual and interim financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, LUX GAAP and IFRS.
- Sign off as reviewer on SOC1 checklist and support SOC external audit requests;
- Understand the governing agreements between Alter Domus and the client.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple client deliverables while ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
YOUR PROFILE:
- 4-8 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with significant exposure to Private Credit.
- High-performing accounting graduate.
- Strong understanding of private credit fund structures and debt instruments like Syndicated Loans, Direct Lending Investments, Mezzanine Debt, CLOs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CA,CMA,ACCA,CFA or CA/CMA Inter/MBA finance with relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
