This role contributes across the BI lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data modeling to dashboard development, governance, and performance tuning. It delivers clear, executive-ready insights and supports measurable KPI improvements. You will work closely with Client Delivery, Processes, Finance, and Technology to deliver scalable, governed analytics that enable faster decisions and improved service performance.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in BI tools, a good understanding of KPIs and operational performance measurement, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance & Standards

  • Contribute to the BI strategy, visualization standards, and reporting operating model in line with business goals.
  • Apply and maintain data governance practices (naming conventions, semantic layers, certified datasets, refresh policies, access controls).
  • Support the BI roadmap by helping prioritize quick wins and foundational initiatives (e.g., data model rationalization).

2. BI Development & Data Visualization

  • Design, develop, and automate dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports using Power BI.
  • Build intuitive, scalable, and interactive visualizations tailored to business and leadership needs.
  • Follow and help improve visualization frameworks to ensure consistency across reporting products.

3. Performance Measurement & KPI Framework

  • Help define, refine, and maintain KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure KPIs accurately reflect operational health and strategic priorities.
  • Support data governance processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of KPI definitions.

4. Reporting & Insights Delivery

  • Deliver periodic (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) performance reports with clear narratives and actionable insights.
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Turn data into storytelling by creating executive-ready summaries and insights that support decision-making.

5. Data Management & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain the reporting architecture and support data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering teams.
  • Ensure reporting systems are robust, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Follow and maintain documentation standards for dashboards, data sources, and business rules.

6. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work as a trusted partner to Operations, Finance, Strategy, HR, and Technology teams.
  • Capture business requirements and convert them into scalable BI solutions.
  • Promote the adoption of BI tools and self-service reporting through training and enablement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data product management.
  • Preferred industry: financial services or consulting.
  • Strong Power BI skills (certification preferred), including DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization.
