Role: Responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence dashboards, performance reports, and analytical insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. This role will own end-to-end BI lifecycle -from requirements to data modeling, dashboard development, governance, and performance tuning—driving executive-ready insights and measurable KPI improvements. Partner with Client Delivery, Processes, Finance, and Technology to deliver scalable, governed analytics that enable faster decisions and improved service performance.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in BI tools, a deep understanding of KPIs and operational performance measurement, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful, decision‑ready insights for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Governance
- Define BI strategy, visualization standards, and a scalable reporting operating model aligned to business goals.
- Establish data governance practices (naming conventions, semantic layers, certified datasets, refresh policies, access controls).
- Prioritize the BI roadmap, balancing quick wins with foundational initiatives (e.g., data model rationalization).
- BI Development & Data Visualization
- Lead the design, development, and automation of dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports using Power BI.
- Build intuitive, scalable, and interactive visualizations tailored to business and leadership needs.
- Standardize visualization frameworks that ensure consistency and alignment across reporting products.
- Performance Measurement & KPI Framework
- Define, refine, and maintain enterprise-wide KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure KPIs accurately reflect operational health and strategic priorities.
- Establish data governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of KPI definitions.
- Reporting & Insights Delivery
- Deliver periodic (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) performance reports to leadership with clear narratives and actionable insights.
- Conduct diagnostic analysis to uncover trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate data into storytelling, creating executive‑ready summaries and insights that guide decision-making.
4. Data Management & Operational Excellence
- Own the reporting architecture and support data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering teams.
- Ensure reporting systems are robust, accurate, and delivered on time.
- Establish and enforce documentation standards for dashboards, data sources, and business rules.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to Operations, Finance, Strategy, HR, and Technology teams.
- Capture business requirements and convert them into scalable BI solutions.
- Drive adoption of BI tools and self-service reporting across teams through training and enablement.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data product management.
- Preferred Industry: Financial services industry or consulting.
- Expert in Power BI (certified), with strong DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization skills.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade dashboards for executive audiences and operations teams.
- Solid understanding of KPI frameworks, dimensional modeling, and data governance.
