YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into intuitive visualisations and data stories.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting assets.
  • Support business teams with ad‑hoc analysis and KPI monitoring.
  • Implement and monitor data quality controls across data models and Power BI reports

Data Modelling & Engineering

  • Develop robust data models using Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Optimise data transformations and ETL processes for performance and scalability.
  • Extract, clean and transform data from SharePoint and Excel Files into Power BI.
  • Work with SQL databases, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Follow established best practices for data architecture, lineage, and documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
  • Provide training or guidance on Power BI, AI tools, and self-service analytics.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay current with Power BI, AI, and analytics advancements.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Support data governance, quality initiatives, and BI standards.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling, Power BI Service).
  • Intermediate SQL skills for querying and transforming data(CTEs and Window Functions).
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to present data clearly

Analytical & Business Skills

  • Ability to work with data and identify trends or patterns
  • Experience working with KPIs, business metrics, and operational reporting.
  • Ability to manage own workload and to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, AI, Business Intelligence, or related field.
  • Experience with Python or R for data science and automation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and responsible AI principles.

Preference

  • Experience with AI‑powered analytics tools (e.g., Copilot, Azure AI, Python, AutoML).
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric).
  • Ability to build predictive or automated insights using AI or ML frameworks.
