JOB DESCRIPTION:

Solvas is a globally recognized software brand in the financial services industry. Our Solvas Platform team builds and supports a modern framework for rapid development and deployment of microservices and micro-frontends. As a member of the platform team, your customers are other developers. A successful candidate will be passionate and opinionated about cloud native computing, developer experience, clean code, and enabling the productivity of product development teams.

Responsibilities:

• You will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of a cross-product developer framework
• Contribute to the implementation and testing of new features
• Advocate and evangelize for standard methodologies and high-quality work  
• Facilitate engineering discussions and decision making considering various stakeholders and constituents
• Serve as a mentor and example of best practices for junior engineers
• Be responsive and proactive while maintaining long-term strategic priorities for suite of software solutions that rely on the platform
• Manage various solution development teams’ expectations regarding deliverables and timing

Qualifications:

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Overall 5+ years of experience in application development
• Experience working with Microsoft’s .NET (C# language)
• Experience developing cross-platform server applications
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, architecture, and design
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Familiarity with artifacts management for .NET and Docker, including semantic versioning, and best practices for dependency management.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

Preferred:

• Familiarity with one or more of Golang, gRPC, protocol buffers, and shell scripting
• Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in cloud deployment (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Working skills with Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and/or Entity Framework

Salary range: The base salary for this role ranges from $67,500 to $115,000+
