JOB DESCRIPTION

Client Delivery Senior Officer will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex fund operations within Private Credit, acting as a subject matter expert and key operational contact within the Client Delivery team. You will review and oversee the work of Officers, ensure adherence to SLAs and control standards, and support a high-quality client experience in close collaboration with Client Servicing and Relationship Management teams.

Client Delivery & Operational Execution

  • Execute day-to-day fund accounting and administration tasks in accordance with standardised 

  • global procedures and agreed SLAs for the relevant product line(s), ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery under the full delegation model.

  • Act as subject matter expert for Private Credit within the Client Delivery structure, developing deep knowledge of product-specific processes and requirements.

  • Take care of the day-to-day operations of assigned funds, including more complex structures, ensuring high-quality, efficient and on-time delivery.

  • Manage daily cash management and review payments in accordance with internal policies.

  • Conduct product-specific quality control reviews on NAV packages, management and performance fee calculations and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency with fund documentation.

  • Oversee the preparation and review of periodic Net Asset Value calculations, regulatory reports and year-end financial statements, coordinating with Officers and Managers as required.

  • Coordinate investor servicing activities, including investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions and issuance of investor / shareholder statements.

  • Coordinate and resolve complex trade and position breaks, cash and position reconciliations with brokers, custodians and other third parties.

  • Act as the central point of contact within the Client Delivery team for your accounts and product line(s), capable of identifying and anticipating possible problem areas, measuring potential risks and service impacts, and proposing suitable operational solutions.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with front office teams and within Client Delivery during client transitions and onboarding of new funds or structures.

  • Lead or contribute to internal projects, including initiatives related to standardisation, automation and continuous improvement of Private Credit.

  • Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Liaise proactively with Client Servicing and Relationship Management to understand client requirements, priorities and specific instructions, ensuring that operational delivery supports a consistent and high-quality client experience.

  • Provide clear, structured operational input for client and internal service review meetings, explaining deliverables, incidents and remediation actions.

  • Coordinate with other support functions (e.g. Legal, Tax, Product, Technology) on complex operational matters to ensure compliance with fund documentation, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Provide timely, accurate and professional responses to operational queries raised by Client Servicing, auditors, tax advisers, custodians and other stakeholders, handling complex issues and escalating to Managers where necessary.

Control, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Act in line with compliance and regulatory requirements as well as internal Alter Domus Policies and Procedures (PPDs) and risk guidelines, setting a strong example for junior team members.

  • Ensure that all deliverables under your responsibility are prepared in accordance with internal control frameworks, including maker–checker principles, documented procedures and segregation of duties.

  • Identify and escalate operational risks, control issues and incidents in a timely manner, and actively participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Support the coordination of year-end audits with clients and their independent auditors, including preparation and review of audit files, resolution of queries and timely sign-off of financial statements.

Service Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Act in line with compliance and regulatory requirements as well as internal Alter Domus Policies and Procedures (PPDs) and risk guidelines, setting a strong example for junior team members.

  • Ensure that all deliverables under your responsibility are prepared in accordance with internal control frameworks, including maker–checker principles, documented procedures and segregation of duties.

  • Identify and escalate operational risks, control issues and incidents in a timely manner, and actively participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Team Development

  • Continuously develop your technical skills and understanding of the alternative investment fund industry, products and regulations, and act as a role model for junior colleagues.

  • Actively share knowledge, expertise and best practices with Officers and peers, contributing to a collaborative and learning-oriented team culture.

  • Support the onboarding, training, coaching and supervision of junior employees, coordinating and reviewing their work to ensure adherence to standards.

  • Identify training needs within the team and contribute to the design and delivery of training programmes for team members or new joiners addressing specific client portfolios, products or systems.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Undergraduate degree (i.e. Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent), preferably in Accounting & Finance, Economics or a related discipline.

  • Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit, domiciliation or a similar field.

  • Fully qualified accountant (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CPAA, CIMA, CA) or strong progress towards qualification.

  • Demonstrated experience in fund accounting and operations (e.g. NAV calculations, investor transactions, financial statement preparation), with exposure to Private Credit. 

  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills when working with front office teams and other COE locations, with the ability to balance operational efficiency and client-centric outcomes.

  • Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to supervise and review the work of junior colleagues, providing clear feedback and guidance.

  • Experience with fund accounting systems (e.g. eFront, Yardi) will be considered an advantage.
